Genting and Father's day

Just got back from Genting a few days ago :)

It was definitely one awesome trip that I'll remember for awhile :)

So I'll start from day one.

On Tuesday the 14th, all of us took express busses from our respective states to the Puduraya bus station in KL. The reason for this was so we wouldn't be all in a mess and scattered about when we reached Genting. Uma lives on the Eastern part of the Peninsula so he took a bus there directly cuz would be kinda silly for him to come all the way to KL and then make a U-turn back to Genting :P

By the time all of us were at the station, it was already 11.45 am. We bought a ticket for the 12.30 noon bus. Surprisingly, the bus was packed when we got on, not packed in a sense that there was little room left in it but in a sense that although it was a weekday like any other, all the seats were filled.

Outside the Puduraya bus station

The trip was about an hour. We reached the lower Sky station at around 1.30 pm. From there, we walked for about 10 minutes to our near by hotel. We unpacked and rested til 3.30 pm. By then, Uma had arrived. We then began our walk to the station and took a cable car up :)

My shoes :)

View from the cable car

Eating dinner at Burger King

Watching small kids play the arcade machines near BK, yeah we're a bunch of pedos :P

When we were up there, there was a 'Transformers' exhibition of sorts going on, which little boy(myself included :D ) wouldn't get excited !! :D

The big thing in the picture is 'Devastator' from Trans 2. I know it doesn't look big in the pic, but it was actually bigger than a computer monitor(not a flat screen one, the traditional box-shaped ones).

More toys :)

I sooooo wanted to buy one :( But they were relatively expensive :(

Bumblebeeeee :)

Bought a shirt there!! The inner child/nerd in me couldn't resist :D

Came with a freebie poster :)

There was also a balloon fair/exhibition going on as well :)

This was one of the biggest sculptures indoors. Notice the sign at the bottom, at the base if its tentacle/foot.

*poke*poke*

Taken at the Ripley's Believe It or Not counter :)

The next day, we woke up around 7-ish and had breakfast at the hotel. We took a shuttle bus to the lower skypark station then another to the upper one.

The view that greeted us when we arrived :)

We waited at the entrace of the theme park for Mel's cousin who got us a 50% discount on the tickets :)

Another one of the balloon sculptures :P

Met some other AIMST peopl there

I'll update this post with more pictures when I find them. Was too busy enjoying myself during the trip to take pics :)

I got back on Thursday and was extremely exhausted. Me and my family celebrated Father's Day on the following Friday night just for the sake of celebrating :)

It wasn't much, just bought a cake for my dad, hugged him and told him I loved him :)
But I could tell he was happy :)

Thats it for now :)

Just got back from hiking at Broga with Alex, Kel and Des so I'm a lil tired now :P Til next time den :)
